At a very young age, it was apparent to everyone that Oles Romanyuk had a gift for art and design.
In 1993, Oles was accepted to an Art College where he studied ceramics and perfected the skills of Hucul pottery. At the time, he also worked as an illustration artist for a children's magazine. However, pottery alone didn't quite satisfy Oles' creative appetite, so he continued his passion for art by studying Painting at the Lviv Academy of Art, where he graduated with honors in 1999. During college, Oles worked as a landscape designer and experimented with graphic design and computer animation. In a matter of months, Oles was consumed and intrigued with computer animated graphics. He soon got a job at the prestigious Deutscher Fuhrungskrafteverband where he creatively lead Mercedes, Deutsche Bank, Villeroy and Boch accounts and sketched cartoons for German TV Channels.
In the early 2000's century Oles met and became friends with Bohdan Smaha. The friendship led to a fruitful creative collaboration for more than 5 years at Visual Harbor. A good share of Oles' creative energy is dedicated to his true passion - photography.
